Being an only child and
losing my mother eight years ago was a painful experience for me.Everything that was Mom’s, now was mine.My Mom had passed away prior to meeting my husband,
and at that time in my life, I lived in a condo apartment.All of my Mom’s belongings where packed by a
moving company and placed in storage until I was ready (and able) to go through
them.When my husband and I bought our
house, a lot of her furniture was used in our home however all the boxes of
personal possessions were put in our unfinished basement until I could go
through them.Five years passed and
those boxes remained untouched.Slowly
more things kept going to the basement when we didn’t know what to do with
them.After the birth of my daughter, I
decided it was time to clear out the basement but was completely overwhelmed
when I got down there!
Linda, a very close friend
of mine was in the organizing business, so I gave her a call!!!It was an amazing transformation and
something both my husband and I would have never done on our own.We needed someone to be objective and Linda
was just that person!The pictures say a
thousand words!!!WOW!From an absolute disaster, to completely
organized!!!Now we can see the space we
have and the potential our basement has for additional living space.
It was truly a pleasure
having Linda organize our basement!
